To date: -6lbs
Now that made me happy when I got on the scales! I wasn't even expecting to lose anything after the week I've had!
As soon as I woke up Wednesday morning I felt awful, I knew it was a cold brewing, but I stuck to my shakes. Then in the afternoon I had a weak moment. I needed something comforting. There wasn't anything in the house, but there were the ingredients to make a brownie in a mug! It wasn't brilliant, it would have been better with some ice cream on top, but it was what I needed.
Thursday I felt a little more with it so went to the cinema with my mum to the 'senior screen' and watched Maleficent. I love the fact senior screen is only £4 and you get free coffee and biscuits! You don't even have to be a senior (but you do have to be an adult). I didn't even entertain the free biscuit as I was being good. However when we got out of the cinema it was gone 1:30pm and I was hungry. I made the mistake of going into Waitrose to pick up some milk and instead of going straight to the tills I went to the patisserie counter and there it was, their cake of the week - Chocolate Caramel Cake, just 99p a slice! After running a couple of errands on my way home it was now nearer 2:30pm. I made myself a cup of tea and I enjoyed my enormous slice of cake. It was delicious! I blame my cold...
Friday night I went out with friends and I had an ice cream sundae for dessert...
Saturday I was good! Until I ate my other half's white chocolate jazzies...
Then Sunday not only did I have a Cadbury ring donut but a triple chocolate muffin as well...
I should have put on weight this week really. I didn't even make it to fitsteps! So how I lost 2lbs I will never know? (I'm sure all that nose blowing etc couldn't add up to that!).
I'm still suffering now with this cold but I have been much better today with my diet, spurred on by my weight loss this week. My boyfriend kindly donated a chocolate biscuit from his lunch hoard to satisfy my post beans on toast dessert craving!
I aim to go to fitsteps tomorrow if I am feeling slightly better still, as I have missed my dancing fix this week and with Strictly Come Dancing about to start I need to swot up on my moves!
Let's hope this week I can cut down on last weeks medicinal treats and drop another pound for my half stone mark! Fingers crossed...
Oh and yes I enjoyed Maleficent, it's a Disney Classic with a twist!
