Loss: -2 1/4lbs
To date: -4.5lbs
Well that really cheered me up!
I was dreading getting on the scales this morning, thinking I hadn't lost anything. I possibly shouldn't have lost anything, having missed FitSteps last week and had not only a cheeky burrito out but a Wagamama's takeaway too! Otherwise I have been pretty good, refusing offers of biscuits and chocolate at work (Cadbury's too, sigh). I think I deserved my loss after the last couple of weeks!
So with this weight loss I am back on track for a pound a week. Next weigh-in I will be very surprised if I lose anything, I am expecting to put weight on. Why? Because I am off to London for the weekend with my friend and I struggle to do healthy when I'm having fun and eating out:
"Would you like to see the dessert menu?"
"No thanks, I'll have one of everything!"
I am a sweet person. Chocolate is my downfall. I could have a really healthy meal and ruin it by cracking open a bag of cookies, you know the ones, all soft with way too many chunks of chocolate in and no nutritional information on the packaging. I could happily eat the whole pack in one sitting. I'm actually making myself hungry just typing about it!
I have been trying to curb my sweet craving by choosing treats that are less than 100cals. Muller Light Dessert Yogurts are my favourite at the moment, especially the banoffee pie flavour. I also like the SlimFast chocolate caramel bar. It's like a thin mars bar and most of the time works a treat, but sometimes I find myself reaching for another...
I will be taking SlimFast shakes with me to London, so at least breakfast will be sorted. Whether I will resist that slice of cake with my full fat latte... I can't quite say!
Any tips for a healthy weekend away would be greatly appreciated!
